After you contact us and tell us your needs and expectations, and once we have the necessary information, our system analysts will respond to your queries which include preliminary cost & time estimations.
For a better protection of your intelligence properties and business secrets, you may need to review and sign a non-disclosure agreement.
We will then structure the process into the following phases.
- Planning
- Business prototype and requirements
- Analysis and design
- Implementation
- Testing
- Delivery and support
Engagement Levels
Itim can engage with its clients based on the needs of the job at hand. We can provide our services either on a Time & Materials basis, or, if the requirements are well-defined, we can give a fixed price for the project.
Itim has helped many distinguished companies build complex IT solutions. The role we play will greatly depend on the individual client needs. Here are some of the scenarios within which we are able to work
SCENARIO 1 - TOTAL SOLUTIONS DEVELOPMENT & SUPPORT
The scope of the system is not known. The requirements are likely to evolve over time.
Our Role…
Itim will give a proposal with all the major business functions segregated into distinct development phases.
Wherever possible each phase will be quoted separately.
We will then take the whole project phase by phase through to implementation.
SCENARIO 2 - SOLIDIFY REQUIREMENTS, DEFINE ARCHITECTURE, AND ENGINEER
Requirements are defined but not fully documented. The scope of the system is known.
Our Role…
Itim will carry out an initial phase to detail and document the requirements of the system and business processes and user interactions. We will propose a technical architecture and give a fixed price quote on the development of the system subject to prerequisite deliverables.
SCENARIO 3 - SIMPLY SOFTWARE ENGINEERING
Requirements have been analyzed and are documented. Business and program specifications are fully described. The technical architecture has been signed off.
Our Role…
Itim will develop prototypes and on their sign off, will develop the system and take it through to implementation.
